Kenny Baldwin

Kenny Baldwin

BA Brigham Young University 2014
Divine Comedy Alumnus

Kenny Baldwin has been performing since kindergarten. During his first solo in a kindergarten chorus concert at the age of five, his voice cracked and his comedic career began. He started acting consistently in junior high school in community theaters. In high school he wrote, produced, and directed his first full-length play and worked as a freelance musical director for various theater companies. While studying at BYU, he worked for BYU Broadcasting writing and producing commercials. He spent three and a half years performing for BYU's Divine Comedy, has worked with some fantastic fellow Divine Comedians and had an opportunity to do voice work for sketches on BYUtv's Studio C.

You can probably tell by his headshot that Bryson takes being funny very seriously. While at BYU, Bryson wrote and performed with the sketch comedy troupe, Divine Comedy. He currently works as a writer and producer for Infigo Films creating comedic commercials and other content. He also enjoys acting in short films and commercials. During the last year he has immersed himself in other forms of comedy such as improv and stand up. This will be his third year as an instructor for the camp and he is very excited to work with young minds that bring fresh and interesting perspectives to the world of comedy.

Tori Pence

BA Brigham Young University 2016

Divine Comedy Alumnus

Tori is from a ten person family, so they make up 45% of her hometown of Buena Vista Virginia, where she once accidentally told a "your mom" joke to a boy with no mother, so she decided to become a librarian. Naturally, she graduated from BYU in 2016 with an Art degree, where she spent none of her time making art and every waking hour writing for and performing in BYU's Divine Comedy. She’s very excited to be a Featured Cast member of BYUtv’s Studio C, but her greatest accomplishment to date is taking a 20 hour nap and feeling no shame.

Brittani Miner

BA Brigham Young University 2014

Divine Comedy Alumnus

Brittni has always believed that when in doubt, you should tell a joke and make fun of someone famous. This life philosophy has given her the opportunity to turn her passion for the performing arts into a career. Hailing from Mesa, Arizona, Brittni can usually be seen at Hale Center Theatre (Phoenix) or heard as a popular voice in radio and commercials. Favorite career memories include her two years as a comedian for BYU's Divine Comedy, time served as a professional improv and sketch comedy advisor, and her unique experience as a joke-crackin' safari guide for Walt Disney World. In 2011, she was named state best actress (GA) for her work on the black comedy, Reckless. Brittni's favorite role is that of wife to her husband, Steve, and mom to Ghost, the wildest pup in the West.

Kevin Baldwin

Divine Comedy MemberBA Brigham Young University 2019

Kevin has always had a passion for making people happy. He started doing comedy in middle school working with the improv club and writing and performing sketches during dance team performances. Kevin worked with the Los Angeles Comedy Sportz group to organize and train an improv comedy team at his school. He and that team joined the Comedy Sportz High School League where they “competed against” teams from other schools in the Los Angeles area. He was admitted to BYU in 2011, where he discovered BYU’s premiere sketch comedy group -- Divine Comedy. After an LDS mission in Belém Brazil, he auditioned for Divine Comedy and made it in! He’s been performing with “DC” for the past 3 years and has loved every minute of it.

Alena Helzer

BS Brigham Young University 2018

Divine Comedy Member

Alena’s first, and likely biggest, role was the Blue Ox in a 2nd grade rendition of Paul Bunyan. She is currently a cast member on Divine Comedy, which, surprisingly, has not helped her get a boyfriend. Alena spends every Sunday morning watching Saturday Night Live and the irony is not lost on her. When she’s not cracking jokes, Alena likes to hike and eat German chocolate, preferably at the same time.

Dalton Johnson

BA Brigham Young University 2018

Divine Comedy Member

Dalton is best known for having once eaten 20 slices of pizza in one sitting, much to the dismay of his mission companion and other South Americans watching. He's also a comedian. In high school, he started with comedy by doing stand up comedy for talent shows and sold some cartoons to the New Era magazine. Since being in college, he's done Divine Comedy for two years and got hired this year as a featured cast member for Studio C. To be sure, though, his first love is and always will be a good pizza buffet.

Aaron Fielding

BS Brigham Young University 2018

Divine Comedy Member

Aaron’s history has very little to do with acting or comedy. Just a lot to do with computer repair and programming. Which, apparently, is hilarious. Aaron’s first acting gig was in 2nd grade. He was the main character in a play about dinosaurs. He knocked over the entire backdrop. Luckily, no one was hospitalized, but Aaron hung up his acting career. That is, until studying at Brigham Young University. He took two acting courses and a comedy sketch-writing class taught by Matt Meese from Studio C for two semesters. During which, he sold some of his work to Studio C. At the beginning of his next semester at BYU, Aaron auditioned for Divine Comedy and has been in the group ever since. He recently began writing and acting for Studio C full-time. He will premiere as a featured cast member in Season 8.

Kayla Yentes

BS Brigham Young University 2019

Divine Comedy Alumnus

Kayla is known for 3 things. First, she’s a huge Alabama Football fan. Second, she’s sometimes funny and will laugh at all of her own lame jokes. Fourth, she can’t count. Kayla started her acting career in 2012 by auditioning for her high school’s theatre department. Three years later she would be cast as the lead in the high schools competition placing 1st place in the nation’s largest high school theatre competition, SETC. Kayla would also write and perform monologues to be used by other high school students for years to come. After high school, Kayla spent a year with BYU’s Divine Comedy Troupe, writing and laughing with some of Utah’s greatest comedic geniuses. Kayla still enjoys laughing and writing and will do so at any given chance.
